we manage the ‘backend’ business for artists to help you create a meaningful and sustainable living through your art. We’re experts in producing and touring, business development, funding, and auspicing to support our artists, and the industry, through our Circus Arts advocacy.

Cluster Arts are always advocating for the circus and physical theatre sector within Queensland and throughout Australia, as well as developing circus networks and industry partners on a global stage. We are imagining a world into existence where funders, politicians and community member hear our message about Australian Circus being a superpower. This brings the art form greater recognition and future support.

Production & Touring

We’re an internationally recognised production house assisting and representing artists with touring opportunities, including the planning and management of tours, and acting as the ‘go-between’ for artists and producers, venues and festivals. This also includes contract negotiations, international currency management through to making insurance claims for lost, stolen or damaged sets/computers etc.

Auspicing & Funding

Cluster Arts are specialists in preparing applications for funding, and in particular the ‘Export Market Development Grant Scheme’ (EMDG). We can assist in developing an annual income raising strategy, plan, write, acquit funding applications, and auspice your grants through our business.

As well as being a sounding board for your ideas, we can also work with you on a strategic plan for your company that would allow for high-level funding or sponsorship opportunities, now and into the future. We can also help you put in place key business protocols: contracts, budgets, HR policy, touring policy, intellectual property policy and company structures.

Cluster Arts has over 30 years combined experience in delivering projects and events of all scales. We deliver a range of public and private events and festival sites including for Brisbane City Council, Matilda Awards, and the circus programme at Woodford Folk Festival.

At Cluster Arts, we're committed to nurturing the well-being of artists. Through our Creative Resilience & Mental Health Programs, we offer tailored support and resources to empower artists to thrive.

From workshops, seminars, forums, and events where we are able to hear from the sector itself what are the challenges being faced, and offer a suite of powerful tools around Mental Health & Resilience as well as offer resources for creative business development and self-sovereignty.

Such as fundamentals of creative business strategy to foundations of financial literacy, coping with stress on tour, developing emotional intelligence and mental health, strategic speech and communication, how to pitch your ideas and projects and harnessing networking opportunities, grant writing and more!

Sharing vital knowledge for working in the arts sector and offering a unique, holistic and integrated approach to supporting artists, providing bespoke coaching, guidance and mentorship as well as referrals and connections, we foster resilience, ensuring every artist's journey is as fulfilling as it is impactful.
