This report is a reflection on three years of Cluster Arts’ CIRC Road Show, supported through Creative Australia’s Playing Australia multi-year funding. Rather than simply reporting on what was delivered, it shares what we learnt from working with artists, producers, programmers, venues, festivals and communities across Australia. It explores the practical realities of touring circus and physical theatre - from risk, routing and programming cycles to audience development, regional engagement and touring infrastructure, and offers reflections for artists, presenters, producers and funders as we consider how Australian work can be more effectively programmed, supported and toured in the future.
